Saugatuck Senior Dance Session  on Lake Michigan



This senior dance session took place at sunset on Lake Michigan, where movement feels quieter and more honest. We didn’t chase poses or performance. Instead, we paid attention to breath, balance, and the small adjustments that happen when someone is fully present in their body. The lake offered space not as a backdrop, but as a steady presence. These images hold a moment of transition, capturing Mari not as she’s expected to be, but as she already is.
