Nightime Senior Portraits


Many senior portrait sessions happen during the golden glow of sunset, but this session in downtown Grand Rapids took a completely different direction. She wanted something bold, creative, and a little unexpected, so I photographed her senior portraits surrounded by the city lights at night. Using long exposures, reflections, and the glow of downtown streets, the session captured a vibrant urban energy that feels totally different from traditional senior photos. The mix of movement, light, and architecture created portraits that are modern, artistic, and uniquely hers. Grand Rapids at night provided the perfect backdrop for a senior who wanted portraits that truly stand out.
